Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Great food and great atmosphere. Very busy but quick service. We had a porteguese server who was extremely nice and kind. She was funny and worked very quickly although the place was packed. Shout out to her. I had vin chaud which one of the best I had in years."
"Honestly, this was one of my favorite finds while visiting Paris 20 years ago. The food was marvelous, affordable and easy to grab a quick bite that was more than satisfying!"
"Amazing and affordable crepes right next to Notre Dame Cathedral. It was served quickly and the staff was nice and friendly. We are going back next time we’re in Paris as part of a new tradition now."
"Charming little crêperie with friendly staff. Quite a pleasant place to relax either before or after spending some time at Notre Dame; I’m already looking forward to my next visit!"
"I visited this restaurant with my family of 6 during our trip to Paris. The location is great - right near Notre Dame with a lovely terrace. The ice cream was actually quite good, which makes this review all the more disappointing. Since we were a large group, we couldn’t all fit at one table, so I sat on a chair right next to the main table where my family was seated. The terrace was completely empty except for us. The owner, an older lady, and what appeared to be her family members were standing around nearby. When I excused myself to use the restroom, I was only gone for about 3 minutes. I returned to find the owner sitting in my chair - the exact spot where I had been sitting for the past 30 minutes. I stood there waiting for her to notice me and move, but she completely ignored my presence. She didn’t acknowledge me at all or make any effort to accommodate us, her only customers on the terrace. Keep in mind, there were plenty of other empty chairs and tables she could have used. Usually restaurant owners want their guests to feel welcome and comfortable. This felt like the complete opposite. It feels like some parisians really dislike tourists even when their livelihood depends on them. I cannot recommend this place. There are many other restaurants in the Notre Dame area where you’ll actually be treated like a welcome guest rather than an inconvenience."
"Great little café that is right across the street from Notre Dame, in the shade. You can sit here enjoying free wifi and restrooms with either lunch, a light snack, a café crême, or ice cream all while sitting next to with a great view of Notre Dame."
"Great place for a quick lunch. The food is very good. The service is quick and efficient. And prices reasonable. If you are visiting Notre Dame, make this your pit stop. And the crepes are awesome."
"Fabulous hot chocolate and hot wine especially in the winter. Besides, onion soup is the best soup in Paris although it is quite big for my stomach. Highly recommend."
